The Paramount+ streaming service recently added Showtime as a permanent part of its ad-free $12/month subscription tier, but you can get 30 free days of Paramount+ with Showtime when you create a new account and use promo code STREAM30 during sign-up. This limited-time offer is only available through July 12.
Paramount+ already has tons of great streaming content, including exclusive series like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and movies like Dungeon & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves or Sonic 2, as well as shows from TV channels like MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and more. This revamped Paramount+ with Showtime tier adds original Showtime content like Yellowjackets, Dexter: New Blood, and The Chi.
Along with the Showtime content, Paramount+ with Showtime also includes access to streams of your local CBS station, the ability to download content to watch offline, and almost no ads (live TV and a small selection of streaming content will still have ads), all for just $12/month.
That said, you can also use the promo code to sign up for 30 free days of the cheaper ad-supported subscription tier, Paramount+ Essentials, which is just $6/month and includes all Paramount+ streaming content, plus live NFL, soccer, and 24/7 news. Paramount+ Essentials does not include Showtime or local CBS viewing.
Whichever subscription you choose, your free trial will last for 30 days starting from when you create your new account. After the free trial period is over, you will automatically roll over to the paid plan you chose at checkout unless you cancel ahead of time.
