Star Wars: Heritage Pack Physical Edition Preorder Costs $20 Less Than Switch eShop Price

A physical version of the Star Wars: Heritage Pack for Nintendo Switch is set to launch on December 8. The seven-game bundle collects Switch ports of some of the best classic Star Wars video games for just $60–which is $20 cheaper than the $80 digital version that launched in April.

While the price difference makes the Star Wars: Heritage Pack physical edition a better deal than the digital version, it is worth noting that only some of the games are included on the cartridge. The Force Unleashed, Jedi Knight 2, Jedi Academy, Republic Commando, and Star Wars Racer are all playable directly from the cart, while Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 are downloadable content, so you’ll need internet access and enough storage space on your Switch to play them.

That may disappoint some players who prefer to have all the content on the cartridge, but the upshot is you’re getting seven awesome Star Wars games, most of them physically, and for $20 less than buying the pack on the Switch eShop.
