One of the best things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that the franchise has given us some terrific spaceships over the years. One of the best? The Benatar from Guardians of the Galaxy, an M-class spaceship with plenty of personality. If you’d like to own a scale-replica that you can build yourself, you can pick up a Lego version of the Guardians spacecraft for $106 at Amazon and Target, a total savings of $54 for this fun kit that’s on sale ahead of Black Friday 2023.
Amazon currently has the model with standard packaging in stock, but it is sold out of the frustration-free packaging version. We’d expect the standard version to sell out soon, too.
This is a pretty big spaceship that you’ll construct from over 1,900 pieces, but once you’re done, you’re getting a stunning model of MCU interstellar transport. The Benatar can be placed on a display stand that rotates, the interior can be easily accessed, and you can explore several of the compartments, like the snack room and weapons storage area. You’ll also get six minifigures in this set, as Star Lord, Groot, Rocket, Mantis, Thor, and a Chitauri warrior are all included. And yes, this spaceship is named after singer and songwriter Pat Benatar.
Fully constructed, this set measures 14 inches long and 23 inches wide, making for a great display piece and a rewarding building experience. For more Lego, you can head on over to Amazon to check out the Donkey Kong and the Lego Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog: Green Hill Zone sets that are currently on sale.
